The Bird flu has rapidly developed into a pandemic impacting wildlife on all continents and in the ocean. It has learned to spread between mammals and is now jumping from mammals to humans. In the final stages, it will be able to spread between humans. Considering the extremely high death rate for humans (>50%), this last stage poses an existential threat to humans. In the Bird Flu VCC we aim to ensure that we are as prepared as possible before the virus reaches this last stage.
